My friend and I are so glad that we chose Dean's place to get away in Collingwood! It was just the 2 of us, but the house is spacious and comfortable for even 4 people. It was meticulously clean when we arrived. And the house has thoughtful decorative details. There's even chocolate placed on the beds upon our arrival. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the beddings were high end hotel quality! Plus, this house is only a 10 minute drive to downtown Collingwood and the waterfront and to the Blue Mountain Village. And Dean is a fantastic host! He always responded to my messages within a minute or at most 5 minutes. We loved it so much, we have already booked our reservation for next year. Thank you Dean!

Positive: Location was great and it was plenty of space for my family. There were lots of games for the kids and we were able to have a couple barbecues during our stay. A home away from home.

My parents stayed at this place as a surprise and they said it was perfect and very short distance for everything they wanted to do, everything was within a small drive and they absolutely loved it!

The property was very well situated providing alot of privacy. The interior was spacious and nicely decorated. The window blinds provided superior privacy and great natural lighting throughout. The fireplace as easy to use and provided a romatic, comforting mood at all times. There were multiple outside use balconies and patios to enjoy that overlooked a quiet, private landscaped property. The beds were huge and very comfortable with ample extra pillows and ample blankets to snuggle up into. The two showers and one bath operated like a spa providing quality toiletries and towels that was greatly appreciated. The fridge, stove, dishwasher and outdoor grill were clean and worked prefectly, making cooking and clean up easy and simple. With parking included and located just across the street, we had easy access to our car for outings to ample near by beaches and high quality resturants located minutes away.It would be beneficial to post on site: check-in and out-times and penalties for non-compliance and any rules; emergency numbers and upon arrival, pool and internet TV access. The host was polite and responsive to any inquiries via text messaging.Overall we had an excellent experience that promoted privacy, relaxation and all the comforts of home, in a refreshing new environment. We greatly appreciated that this was pet friendly location. We are eagerly look forward to booking our next visit in the very near future.

Overall very pleasant stay..3 bathrooms is a definite plus point! Positive: Clean and spacious, well located, great amenities! Negative: Outdoor Pool could’ve been better cleaned (given extra fee for use). Some neighbour noise from attached suites.

Fabulous stay, modern comfy unit and eating break outside was a nice quiet treat. Positive: Location was great. It was close to the village, the Scandinave spa and downtown Collingwood. If I had a question Dean was quick to respond. The property was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated, very up to date. We will definitely be staying here again and I highly recommend it to everyone. Negative: The only negative thing is that there was no closet in the second bedroom and that it advertised a “hot tub” which I assumed was a tub outside but was a jet tub in the bathroom. No big deal, as I said I’ll be staying here again. Oh and maybe add some hooks in the second bathroom for a robe or wet towel.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy and peaceful palace :) Positive: We were cycling for a couple of days in the area with a large group of 30 from our bike club in Toronto. We love the nice long hills and amazing vistas in this area. A lot of folks from our group stay in hotels downtown but we prefer this quiet and peaceful location. We have some food allergies to consider so making our own meals was key. The kitchen was very well-equipped. I have stayed at another property (not hosted by Dean) in this area and it is bigger (3 br) but more expensive so decided on Greenview Retreat. We enjoyed the balcony off the Master suite and ate our dinner out there one night. I think we will come back in the Winter to do some cross-country skiing! Why not? The surrounding towns like Kimberley and Thornbury are very charming and nice to stop for coffee/lunch. Negative: We had some struggles with the Keurig machine - it’s a bit temperamental - but all in all a minor point.

Stayed for 4 days for a sports tournament. Great location. Very clean. Lots of amenities in the home. Lots of space which was great for relaxing with our two boys after games. Space was close to the pool. Very comfortable inside. Dean was very helpful and responsive. Will definitely consider again if wea re up that way.

Recommend Positive: Really lovely place. Super comfortable beds and beautifully furnished. Clean and all seemed new. To have a fire was super as the weather was cold. Negative: We asked for earlier check in because 4pm was quite late but the host wanted extra CAD20 per hour.

As much as I loved this place, I can’t describe how beautiful and clean this place was! I highly recommend this beautiful home. Everything was sparkling clean and VERY comfortable bed mattress. Such a great location and car was parked lot was right in front of the house. We had a wonderful time. Thanks for hosting us Dean! We will definitely come back again.

Good location and Dean was very responsive but money for value wasn't there for me. Positive: N/A Negative: I would have liked an information booklet explaining some things like where the fireplace switch was, how to operate the TV etc. The bedrooms were cool upstairs, so I reached out to the host who provided ONE heater. Light bulbs were out, clock batteries were dead and the jets seemed to be stuck on the "hot tub" which is a bathtub.

Positive: The Greenview retreat townhouse was very clean, nice and modern. The host was easy to talk back and forth with. He answered all my questions and was accommodating to my needs during our stay. Check in was easy. Great location.

It was perfectly peaceful! Positive: It was so cozy, yet roomy, comfortable, and extremely clean. The beds were amazing. I’m sometimes hesitant to book properties because they’re not always clean, but this was immaculate. Negative: Location was optimal! They had fans! I can't sleep without a fan. Great lounging areas

This is our second time staying here - and we would definitely book again. We find the location great for visiting the local cross country ski trail and still having convenient access to the shops & restaurants in Collingwood. Clean, comfy & convenient! Loved a locker right outside the door to store our gear & the EV car chargers just a short walk away at the hotel.

I had a great time at the lovely Airbnb listed by Dean. It was the perfect getaway for my birthday with some friends for my blue mountain skiing trip. The space was spotless, and was festively decorated for the holidays which made us all feel right at home. Dean was responsive and helpful answering any questions we had. We sincerely enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book another getaway at his place in the future!

Un petit cocon dans le froid canadien. Super! Positive: Hébergement moderne et très confortable, propre et très fonctionnel pour 4 personnes. Décoré avec goût et avec une petite touche d’esprit de Noël pour l’occasion. Nous avons passé un séjour chaleureux et confortable non loin du village de Blue Mountains. Negative: Salles de bains peu chauffées en regard du reste des pièces. Batterie de cuisine réduite alors que l’équipement de la cuisine permet vraiment de faire « comme chez soi »

We had a wonderful stay at Dean’s place! The two-level apartment was very clean, modern, and well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a coffee machine, coffee, and tea. We also really appreciated having access to the backyard and a fully working BBQ, which we used and enjoyed very much. Our kids absolutely loved the hammock and the board games, and we really enjoyed the cozy fireplace and the beautiful, peaceful surroundings — it was very quiet and relaxing. Bathrooms were spotless with fresh towels, clean bedding, and all the essentials provided. The location is great: just a short drive to restaurants and very close to Blue Mountain and the ski lifts. Overall, everything was new, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. We truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back!

We booked this place for a weekend getaway and it was absolutely perfect. The house is beautifully furnished, and the host stocked the place with all the little extras you might need during your stay. Our unit had a hammock, and we spent hours relaxing and watching TV on it. There were also two patio areas, which made it even better. Check-in was super easy, parking was convenient, and the host was so friendly and informative. It’s also very close to Blue Mountain Village and the Scandinave Spa. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

This is a lovely spot! We had 4 comfortable nights here and appreciated the ease of entry when we arrived. The property is clean, well-organized, nicely equipped, private, and quiet. There were nice walks for our two dogs close at hand. We had everything we needed to cook our meals, and Dean has provided many thoughtful toiletry items in the event that you forgot something. We highly recommend this property and hope to return one day in the future.

It is good place for one night stay. It says 5 guests but had 2 queen size beds which can accomodate 4 people only and hot water is not continuous.

Dean was very responsive however we were disappointed with they stay as the hot tub listed under 'parking and facilities' does not exist and is actually the same bathtub that is advertised under 'bathroom'. It was also shocking to wake up in the morning and see one of the guests sleeping on the floor as the pull out couch which was advertised did not exist, meaning there were only 2 beds for 5 guests.

Comfortable place near blue mountain ski hill. Clear instructions and easy check in / check out. Dean was very responsive. The place was comfortable but could use a couple touch ups here and there but nothing that negatively impacted our stay! We would stay again!

Dean’s place is nestled in a private community and peaceful surroundings in close proximity to blue mountain village (about 11 min drive) and very close to shops and groceries in collingwood. The place has two bedrooms upstairs and two separate full bathrooms is a HUGE win but the bed sizes themselves are small so although it says suitable for 6 people I’d say it’s likely comfortable for 4 average sized adults with maybe a couple of kids. We didn’t get the option to check in early and were asked to check back on the day of and kept getting auto generated messages which was a bit annoying as it would’ve been nice to receive an actual answer. I also got a “thank you for your stay” and link to review the place BEFORE I had even checked in! So obviously this autogenerated messaging system isn’t working … communication could’ve been a lot better. I don’t care if someone responds late but it’s nice to get answers from a human vs an AI.

First of all the pictures honestly don't do this place justice , it was absolutely perfect for my group of friends (6 of us) very close to Blue Mountain, INCREDIBLY clean and cozy ! we were all blown away when we walked in ! if you are in the area and need a place to stay book it ! you won't be disappointed !!
